Getting The Check-Up For Taxi Drivers

Taxi drivers ferry passengers around the town. The safety of the passenger depends on the driving skills of the driver. This is why there are separate training and testing requirements for driers of public vehicles like taxis. It is not just the driving skills that matter. The health of the driver is also a major factor. If the person suffers from a disease that can affect his or her driving, then they will not be issued a license. It is not just the passenger who is at risk but also others on the road who can be dangerously hurt because of an accident. Drivers must not have physical disabilities that will prevent them from driving the vehicles properly. All drivers need their limbs to be in good condition and strong for driving the car properly. The PDVL medical check-up is mandatory for drivers applying for the license. 

The medical check-up for a taxi license must be done at a competent clinic that has the required equipment and trained personnel. The mandatory examinations like a chest X-ray must be completed and the report submitted. The clinic must have a modern X-ray machine for the same and a qualified technician to complete the imaging. A physical examination is also part of the check-up requirements for driving license. This will tell the doctor whether the person suffers from any physical disability that will prevent him from driving the car properly. Once the tests are done the report must be obtained and submitted to the authorities for the license.

Get Your Domestic Worker’s Health Check Done

Anyone who wishes to appoint a foreign domestic worker must get the work permit for the same. The foreign domestic worker permit will be issued only after completion of a medical examination. This must be done at an approved clinic and results submitted to the MOM for further processing of the work permit. The medical check-up will confirm that the person can satisfactorily work as a domestic worker. It must also be ensured that she doesn't have any diseases that can be spread in the household. The FDW medical check-up will confirm the fitness of the foreign domestic worker. 

The pre-employment medical examination for FDW will include blood tests for checking whether she is suffering from HIV, malaria, or any venereal disease. The person will also be checked for pregnancy by collecting a urine sample. Physical measurements of the person will also be taken as part of the test. X-ray imaging is done to reveal any problem with the internal organs of the person and to confirm the absence of any diseases.
